Sunny Days
We had a great weekend, enjoying the wonderful sun. The kids played outside all day today. We started out on the playset, rode bikes and even got out the sprinkler. Our nice sunny afternoon was topped off with freeze pops on the steps! I am so excited for more summer days like this!

It's Raining It's Pouring
Cooper is 100% in love with his goloshes! He wears them every chance he gets...even if it's not raining. As you can see by this picture, the goloshes were actually at their functional best.

Camping Memorial Day Weekend
We had a blast camping with the Miller family over Memorial Day weekend. We rented a cabin this year at LuWiSoMo campground and it worked out really nice. The boys slept up in the loft, while Ava was in her pack-n-play in the main room. Randy and I slept on a squeeky bed in the main room also. It was a true blessing that everyone napped and slept well! We had fun roasting marshmallows, enjoying Jim's annual fish fry, going fishing, going canoeing, eating Casey's omelets in a bag and doing a little exploring in the woods. The kids were truely in heaven because they were able to spend every waking moment outside! Thank you to Casey, Mom, Dad and Uncle Kevin for helping us with the kids. We even got a few rounds of sheepshead in, a game of cribbage and some Connect 4 (which was really enjoyable even as an adult)! All in all it was a great weekend.

Pretty Dress
My mom passed this dress on to me for Ava. I wore it as a little girl and now Ava can wear it. I thought it only appropriate that she wear it to our Mother's Day brunch. It was so neat to look at her and think that I wore that dress so many years ago!

Fishing at Miller Park
We also went fishing on our trip up to my parents for Mother's Day. It was Logan and Cooper's first fishing endeavor for the year. We didn't catch a fish, but everyone had a good time!
A Day at the Farm
When we head to Omro to visit the Miller's the boys love to go visit the farm! We have two we like to go to. The first is Cathy and Al's farm (my Godparents). They always seem to have baby cows and baby kitten's which the kids love to see. The weather finally cooperated a little and we headed out. We also visited the second farm to see some baby goats. I'm so happy that our kids get to experience the small town charm of a farm and good old-fashioned fun!

Spa Day
Logan treated me to a spa day at his preschool for Mother's Day. He painted my nails, fixed my hair and fixed me a plate of snacks. He felt so proud of everything he did and was beaming from ear to ear the whole time. Children are such a precious gift and I am so blessed to have 3 wonderful children! They can bring a smile to my face with the simplest gesture of love. Ava will come up to me and just crawl up on my lap for a squeeze, Cooper will tell me a knock, knock joke and Logan will sing a song...all of which bring a smile to my face. Thank you Logan, Cooper and Ava for all you are to me!
